Next Herb Walk 17th August

Wednesday 21st July saw the 2nd in the summer series of Isobel's Herb Walks.  The first one in May toured the wild and cultivated medicinal plants in Rougemont Gardens in the heart of Exeter's city centre, with this most recent one taking in some of the huge variety of therapeutic plants alongside the canal near the Double Locks pub.  We discovered everything from Hops to Hemlock, and in two hours merely scratched the surface of the huge wealth of nature's pharmacy.

There's so much more to discover, the next walk will pick up where we left off on Tuesday 17th August at 6.30.  We will be meeting outside Bar Venezia near Exeter quay.  The Herb Walk costs £5 per person, and will take up to two hours.  Bring a brolly if the weather looks unsettled, and comfortable footwear, though we will mostly be along pathways, some stoney, some grassy, most tarmac!
